The deed, June 29, 1866, transfers ownership from Josiah Belden and James T. McDougall to Thomas Knight. The abstract, including sketch map, April 8, 1866, details previous transfers of ownership, granted first by the State of California to James T. The abstract also includes record of settlement of a complaint by Kelsey Hazen vs. City of San Francisco, 1855-1864, along with a sheriff's deed, dated Aug. 20, 1863, for the property sold to Issac N. Thorne and assigned to Josiah Belden. With this, another abstract of title, Aug. 14, 1868, records additional transfers of portions of lot 325 during 1867-1868.
